One of Singapore’s leading entrepreneurs, Asad Jumabhoy ’84 is CEO of the Scotts Group, the investment and holding firm he founded in 2009. He is also co-founder and CEO of UTU Global, a cross-border loyalty and reward points platform for consumers that makes loyalty and reward points programs available internationally. Previously he served as vice chair of Fintrax Group Holdings of Singapore and as a director of Global Blue, the firm that pioneered the international tax-free shopping industry. He is a member of the executive committee of the Federation of International Polo, and won a silver medal in polo for Singapore at the Southeast Asian Games in 2007. He earned degrees in mathematics and economics at Occidental, where he was a member of the Blyth Fund, the student-led investment group, and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
